Job Description
I sell things I don\\\'t truly have. I set expectations I cannot meet. I build relationships that inevitably break. I don\\\'t get paid.
Pros
This job is in a great location - downtown San Francisco - and the management style is hands-off. Our value proposition is compelling, if not true. I can basically come and go as I please as long as I make my number. Some of my work associates are a pleasure to work with.
Cons
My biggest complaint about this job is that the company cannot execute on the back end. I spend much time apologizing to clients rather then renewing them. It\\\'s a daily battle being defensive and intentionally vague to sell services I know we cannot deliver. To make matters worse, it\\\'s apparently my fault that we can\\\'t execute. Leadership expresses how perfectly positioned we are and how our \\\"end-to-end\\\" solution is an easy sell. I sell it - it doesn\\\'t work - I don\\\'t get PAID.
