Project Manager

Job Description

-I work regular hours (non of these 80-hour ibanking weeks).

-My day is spent generally on the phone and in front of a computer, working on managing many different projects. Projects can take as short as 1 day to bring to completion or as long as a few months.

-Brainstorming meetings always bring new projects to my plate. We're always thinking up and rolling out new things/ways to make the company better. We do what we can do be able to streamline processes, foster growth, encourage specific behavior that we want, etc.

Pros

-Reward programs are a great motivator to perform well and exceed expectations. (example: top performers are sent to Hawaii for a week)

-Respectable and smart coworkers! They are the reason I come to work and want to work harder.

-Culture, culture, culture! This group is awesome. It's hard to keep up a highly professional atmosphere without losing that sense of light-hearted and easygoing comfort.

-Wonderful benefits!

-Tons of opportunities to expand your knowledge. The company is 100000% pro-higher education and they encourage taking any classes that you may be interested in (pertaining to your work).

Cons

-Working with various groups across the board can get frustrating. Not everyone is as willing to help as people in my group.

-Pressure to meet simultaneous deadlines can get a little nuts!

-A day filled with meetings gives me less available TIME to actually do my work.
