Sales Engineer at General Electric (Intern)

Job Description

hmm..I basically made copies at kinkos and put together manuals of building layouts. So all the building that ever get built have electrical layouts built of similiar components, circuit boards, lights, power generators, etc.

All I did was look up the parts, print the How To and FAQ guides on those parts and put them in a binder. Then I'd websurf, and finally I would to go to kinkos and make copies of those binders.

So repeat this everyday 10x and you have my job.

Pros

Flexibility:

I worked part-time from 3-7pm and could bascially not work if I felt like it. Since obviously I was not an integral part of the process I could not come into work and it was cool. I worked about 16 hours a week.

Pay: $12.75 / hour as a student for making copies. need i say more.

Resume builder: GE looks great on a resume, and I did learn some of what it takes to be a good salesperson.

Cons
